Oragami Inflatable Fish

The inflatable fish is a neat little model that, as the name suggests, inflates. It is folded from the waterbomb base, and is similar to other models folded from the waterbomb base (such as the waterbomb, cube, and inflatable bunny). The paper I used was purple, but my camera was having light issues, so it looks blue.

Step 1: Fold a waterbomb base and orient it as shown below

Step 2: Valley fold the left corner to the top

Step 3: Valley fold the right corner to the top

Step 4: Take the left side of the newly formed flap and valley fold it to the center

Step 5: Valley fold the right side to the center as well

Step 6: Take the top two corners and valley fold them down so the edges meet the edges of the flaps folded in steps 4 and 5

Step 7: Valley fold the flaps you folded in step 6 down over the flaps folded in steps 4 and 5

Step 8: Unfold the folds you made in step 8

Step 9: Open the flap and stick the triangular flaps inside (this is exactly the same steps as in the waterbomb and inflatable bunny). Do the same thing on the right and left flaps.

Step 10: Turn the model over

Step 11: Valley fold the top left edge to the center

Step 12: Valley fold the top right edge to the center

Step 13: Valley fold the bottom left corner to the outside like so:

Step 14: Valley fold the far left point to the right, folding the rest of the flap as well

Step 15: To inflate, blow into the little hole indicated by my index finger in the picture. This is the trickiest part, and you might have to move the tail fin a little to get a good blow.

Your inflatable fish is now complete!
