How To Make an Origami Card Holder

The Card Holder is an easy way to hold all of your cards.


Step 1:  With your paper face down, valley fold across and unfold.



Step 2: Valley fold down and unfold.


Step 3: Take the left side and fold to the center line.


Step 4: Repeat step 3 on the right side and unfold.


Step 5: Take the top right corner and fold it along the first crease.


Step 6: Repeat step 5 on the bottom right corner.


Step 7: Fold the sides back to the center and flip your paper over.



Step 8: Take the top and valley fold down to the middle crease.


Step 9: Repeat step 8 on the bottom.


Step 10: Fold your paper in half along the crease.


Step 11: Unfold and rotate to put your cards in your card holder.

The dragon is my favorite origami model but it is definitely not a beginner model. To fold it, you need to be able to petal, squash, sink, valley, and reverse fold. If you can't do all of  these folds, refer to the  folds  post. Origami Basketball Hoop

The basketball hoop is a fun and interactive model. Once made, just crumple some paper into a ball and start shooting (you can also make a crumpled ball ). It can be made from either origami paper or printer paper. If you make it from origami paper, it won't be as tall, and won't stand up as easily, but it will still work. I would recommend making it from printer paper though. Also, it might fall over when being used, so just put a book or something behind it and it will stay up fine. Step 1: If you're using printer paper, orient it vertically. If you're using origami paper, make a  waterbomb base  and then skip to step 9. Oragami Inflatable Frog

The inflatable frog is a traditional Japanese origami model. It is a rather common model, but it's only one of many origami frogs out there. It is a rather advanced model, requiring squash and petal folds to make the base, and reverse folds to form the frog. It inflates, but is folded from a frog base rather than a waterbomb base.
