Oragami Grass
Grass is one of the simplest models out there, consisting of valley folds and one reverse fold. It is not very detailed but works fine when used as decoration and made of green paper (if you want to have dead grass just use yellow). If you would like to fold a different grass model, click the link to learn how to fold traditional origami grass.
Step 1: Fold a kite base and orient it as shown below
Step 2: Valley fold the top left edge to the center line
Step 3: Valley fold the bottom left edge to the center
Step 4: Mountain fold the top point around the back to the bottom one
Step 5: Valley fold the model using the slanted line in the center as an axis
Step 6: Unfold
Step 7: Valley fold the bottom point up, opening the model
Step 8: Now inside reverse fold the right portion up using the crease lines and flatten
Your simple grass is now complete! I would recommend using smaller paper to create much smaller grass if you plan on using it for scenery. 2 inch by 2 inch (about 5 cm by 5 cm) works well. If this isn't exactly what you wanted, you could also try folding traditional grass instead.
